A Little About the Artist
Bobby Whitehead of Bernie has done many murals in Bernie. He
and his wife Sue reside in Bernie. You can also see his work in many
surrounding towns. He is currently working on a book that will consist of all
his art work. That which is on canvas and his in home and outside murals.
This Mural can be found on the side of Winers Department. Most everyone will
recognize the man in this as Dr. F. O . Kelley. Dr. Kelley delivered over 2,000
babies around this area. He was a very well known man, and probably
brought many Bernie residents into this world. He was the Doctor in Bernie
for many many years.

This is the latest work of Bobby Whitehead. This mural is
on the side of Marietta Reams building, downtown Bernie. It is giving
recognition to our Volleyball team and to Coach Bill Zoll for doing a
great job throughout the years in making our team State Champs! |
