Welcome to the Bernie Public Library.  The Bernie Library provides the citizens of Bernie with access to the most current books, magazines, video, and other materials that includes everything from educational to recreational interests.

Every summer the library hosts a reading program designed to peak reading interests in children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old.  This is a very popular program and includes participation from Bernie volunteers who read to the children.

The Library also hosts several fund-raising activities throughout the year in order to raise money to help with the many improvements and projects going on in the library. 

   

Sandy Stone has been the Bernie Librarian for over 28 years.

     The Library is equipped with a computer lab which includes internet accessible to the public as well as students.

 

   

 

   The Library is very proud of the addition of its new Children's Room

                      

       

The Library has an extensive collection of various VCR and DVD movies suitable for the whole family that are available to check-out and rent.
 

The Library has an impressive collection of books that are of great help to Bernie Elementary and High School students in meeting their research as well as their AR reading goals. 

The library has books that suit every reading level and interest.
