BERNIE LIBRARY Welcome to the Bernie Library. Every summer we have a reading program. The program is held each Friday morning for six weeks, starting in June. Florene Lee has managed the program for several years and does a wonderful job. She finds the volunteer readers, and also reads herself. Our program is for children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. Our groups are divided according to age so that each child will benefit. We had 104 attend this past summer of 2000.
The Bernie Library provides the citizens with access to current interest, educational, popular and recreation materials. Come by and see us. You'll be glad you did. |
