Bernie Fall Festival 2008

The Bernie Fall Festival started out with a parade on Main Street.
Chief of Police Justin Allen led the parade. The Bernie High School Band was the first of several bands that marched.

The Dexter Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Stoddard Co Sheriff's Department each had cars in the parade.

Here, the Puxico High School Band, one of the Bernie Fire Department's trucks, and Daisy Troop 304's float.
Bell City and Clarkton High School Bands along with the various floats and entries made for a colorful and festive parade.

Tilmon's Towing, Grand Marshall Bob Keathley, and the antique tractors round up the parade.

After the parade, everyone gathered at the City Park for food, craft booths, and activities that provided hours of fun and entertainment for everyone !!!!

Mayor Tilmon started the day out by announcing the winners in the parade competitions. The Lions Club sold their famous barbeque and pork steak sandwiches.

The craft and food booths kept everyone busy as they walked through the park

As you can see, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained all day

Ronnie Miller did an excellent job announcing and keeping everyone entertained with music

The Civic Club's pageant was a big attraction
