Tenth Annual Car Show

Saturday's Car Show at the Bernie City Park was a big success with over 70 entries !!! 

 

 

The Lions Club provided participants and spectators with food and drinks throughout the day.  The Lions Club uses proceeds from the Car Show and its other fundraisers for the many service projects they support.  Such projects include assisting children to obtain eye glasses, scholarships, and meeting other community needs.

Prizes for the participants included:

 A "Best of Show" Trophy

(20) 1st Place Trophies, (20) 2nd, and (20) 3rd Place Trophies

Plaques were given for the Longest Distance Traveled,

Largest Club, Best Interior, Best Engine,

and Best Paint

 

All Judging was  done on a 100 Point System !!!

  

Bernie residents enjoyed the day's activities despite the heat and humidity.  They participated in a 50/50 drawing and other drawings for free prizes.  Ron Miller, as always, did an excellent job as announcer.

 

 

 This Roadster was the winner of the "Best of Show" Trophy
